The Inn on Water Street is a contemporary, quaint and intimate 26 room boutique hotel, located in Marine City with a beautiful view of the St. Clair River. Housekeeping Associate
Our jobs aren’t just about giving guests a clean room and a freshly made bed. Instead, we want to build an experience that is memorable and unique. Our Housekeeping Folks are skilled in a wide range of housekeeping functions with a excitement for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the whole hotel. The hotel spaces create the guest experience and we empower our people to do what needs to be done!

What you’ll do:
During your shift you are on the ground floor of the customer experience. Your job will include:
- Work under the support of the General Manager (We won’t leave you hanging!)
- Housekeeping basics
- Clean guest rooms
- Make hotel beds
- Collects linens for laundering as well as general laundry
- Re-stock guest room supplies
- Vacuum and Dust
- Clean bathrooms
- Some outdoor work during the seasons (windows, weeding, sweeping etc.)
- Deep cleaning projects as needed
- Other reasonable requests as needed
- Being on your feet for much of your shift (No boredom here!)
- Move, lift, push, pull items sometimes up to 50 pounds
The Job Details:
Part-time 10:00AM – 4:00PM with shifts available seven days per week
Must be available for rotating weekends and holidays.
Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience (Commercial cleaning experience highly desired)
Front Desk Guest Concierge

What you’ll do:
During your shift you are the face of the hotel and the first step in guest experience and satisfaction. Your job will include:
- Work under the support of the General Manager (We won’t leave you hanging!)
- Manage the front desk computer and phones assisting with bookings and guest questions
- Light computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office absolutely required (some training available)
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs
- Manage stocking and light cleaning of the breakfast nook
- Support the housekeeping staff as necessary
- Understand the immediate surroundings of Marine City, Algonac, St. Clair, and Port Huron to make proper recommendations to our guests (restaurants, things to do, entertainment, etc.)
The Job Details:
Split shifts with hours either 6 am – 2 pm or 2 pm – 10 pm.
Must be available for rotating weekends and holidays.
Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
