Reservation, Cancellation & Hotel Policies

Reservation & Cancellation Policy: A credit card is required at the time of booking and will be charged in full. Complete refunds are offered if you cancel at least 72 hours prior to check-in on your scheduled arrival date. We do not offer refunds for no-shows, early check-outs, or cancellations with less than 72-hour notice. 

Smoking:  Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Inn. 

Free Wifi is available throughout the property. 

Pet Policy:  We see our pets as family and are a pet-friendly property.  However, we do ask that if you leave your pet in the the room for a short period, leave your cell number at the front desk so that we may contact you if there is an issue. Please curb barking, and keep pets on a leash close by your side as a courtesy to other guests.  Please use assigned exercise areas and clean up after your pet. There is a $30 non-refundable pet fee per stay. Up to two pets are permitted during your stay. We reserve the right to charge for any resulting damage to room. Food and water dishes are available at front desk.

Amenities: We provide complimentary toiletries such as shampoo, soaps, and lotion, bottled water, and old-fashioned, homemade chocolate chip cookies. Robes & linens are available for purchase, among other gift items.  Please do not remove any other items from the room as this will result in a charge to your credit card.

Morning Coffee & Continental Breakfast: Cleanliness is a priority so we do not leave coffee makers in the rooms but we do deliver a hot thermos carafe right to you room.  Call the front desk when you would like this service. A complimentary continental breakfast buffet is available from 7-10 am each morning in The Inn Kitchen

Final Charge includes 6% Michigan Sales Tax and 5% Occupancy Tax

This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by the Inn on Water Street and The Inn Kitchen.

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Inn on Water Street and The Inn Kitchen may collect and use Users personal information for the following purposes:

– To improve customer service: Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.

– To personalize user experience: We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.

– To improve our Site: We may use feedback you provide to improve our products and services.

– To process payments: We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.

– To run a promotion, contest, survey or other Site feature: To send Users information they agreed to receive about topics we think will be of interest to them.

It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests.
